The best way to train your dog is to know it and study them very carefully. Learn what your dogs likes to do best and start with that. Make sure your hound understands that training can be fun. Most important with hounds in training is treats. Basset Hounds love treats and will do most anything to receive one.

Training - Start out by taking some classes from a trained professional
